Happy New Year to One and All

Today is the day, and if you are reading this, then you have successfully completed 2015. You have now entered into 2016 which is also a leap year & your yearbook is going to have 366 days which means you have to wait another 365 days, not including today for 1 Jan 2017. I want to wish each and everyone a Happy New Year.

For me every year, New Year seems interesting and surprising. Many people start the celebrations from Dec 31 evening itself which will be continued till midnight of Jan 1. Some may go to events hosted by others, or some may organize their own, but at the end, most of the people are going to welcome a new year with great hopes and enthusiasm. Everyone has plans for what to do in New Year; Some work hard on those plans while others just watch others achieving their goals & feels miserable.

Every new year some people make new year resolutions which will have a positive effect on their lifestyles whether they want to go to GYM or want to improve themselves. But 90% of the people who make New Year Resolutions won’t be able to follow them from Jan 2 itself, and Some may follow them for 1 week or 2 week’s tops. They forget the motto of new year resolutions, and when they are about to face the end of the year, They welcome New Year with same old resolutions which they are struggling to follow from past few years.

new year resolutions

There is no sense of making new year resolutions if you are not going to follow them. You can create those little habits which you stated in your resolutions, and you should probably take your time off from Facebook to work on them. Everyone makes mistakes, but only a few can rectify them and accepts it. If you are going to parties every week, then you can make it to the GYM every day, or you can read a book every time which won’t cost a fortune !!!

How I used to celebrate Happy New Year in my childhood

I am going to tell you all How I used to celebrate Happy New Year in my Childhood as I have stopped celebrating it after my X class or SSC due to many reasons. I am not against people who are celebrating, or you can even call me as an Introvert. Back in my childhood, I used to enjoy those New Year Eve’s which we all used to wait for a long time to celebrate. It is always an amazing experience to stay awake till 12 and wish family, friends, even strangers.

Happy New Year cake

Back in my school days, we used to welcome New Year by cutting the cake in class and yelling “Happy New Year”. Everyone comes to school to wish their crush 😛 (Most of you guys who are reading this have a crush in their childhood days, Don’t lie :D) or friends. Although we can watch how students and working professionals are celebrating their New Year Eve in huge parties still we are pretty satisfied with our little things.

We wait eagerly for the day; We used to buy greeting cards to distribute to the whole class. We used to buy those sheets at 2 – 5 rupees which are actually sheets of greeting cards which contain around 12-16 cars which are detachable from the sheet. Usually, distribution of these cards starts from mid-December itself which is an amazing experience and most of you had it.

We used to do several things to make the day special and memorable. At the age of 6 or 7 (Sorry I am unable to recall my exact age that time) we used to gift our teacher’s apples wrapped in a pink gift paper on New Year Ever, and I also remember yelling Happy New Year to strangers on our way back to home. I used to enjoy those days a lot, and I am started to miss them.

Apple Wrapped for New Year

But now things have been changed; I can barely go out on December 31 and celebrate the New Year. I have my reasons to do so, and I am not against anyone. 2015 had a great impact on me, until last year I thought to myself that Why do we need to study we can ace in other fields. Finally, I realized that studies matter the most and I am going to study for myself. I am not afraid of what my neighbors say about my grade, and there is nothing to prove to anyone what I am capable of.

I started this blog for the purpose of sharing my experiences, journies, etc. which will be fulfilled this year. I will write on my blog more frequently, and it serves as a diary for my future self. I wish all my friends a Happy New Year and If I start tagging every person who helped me to complete and achieve my goals in 2015, then this post will become a very long post which makes no sense at all.

I wish all of you start working and make your dream comes true. Don’t be a dreamer, be a doer. So let’s change our lives in this year and make it one of the best year till day. Thank you, one and all and let’s welcome 2016, Happy New Year 2016.

My Blogging Journey till Now

I thought of writing about “my blogging journey” till now as I completed two years as on 16-07-2015. Many times I thought of writing about my journey and never got any time for that. Now I am going to share my blogging journey with you all. Currently, I’m studying III Year B.Tech (CSE) and part time blogger. The way I get into blogging may seem same as many. I am fascinated by computers and used to go to computer classes during my holidays in childhood although I learned few basic stuff I didn’t own a computer until May 2014. The reasons may be many, but now I am typing this article through a Dell Laptop which my parents gifted me.

I got interested in blogging after my 10 SSC examination when I got a lot of free time as the results take a month or two to come. I used to go to a net center nearby which is owned by our relatives. I used to visit the net center regularly, during those days they used to charge around INR 20-25/hour, and I am familiar with how to use the internet as I have been to them from my “Seventh Standard” or so. During those days, I usually don’t know about blogging or anything all I know is to play “Vice City” or type in random search queries in the search box and wonder how they are delivering the results.I have been introduced to the P*** too during those time.

I used to own a blogger blog which I created in 2011 posted few copied articles and forgot about it as I went to the hostel for the next two years for “Intermediate.” If you are from Andhra, then I bet that you know how it goes after SSC. After completing my Intermediate and appearing for Eamcet, I got a lot of free time as the counseling has been delayed. This made me visit the Netcenter more frequently, and I even used to spend 4 hours in a row in front of the computer screen. I tried updating the blogger blog and even created a new blog which is “micromaxarena.blogspot.com”.

I used to copy articles or write them on my own. I also wrote posts on my blog using my “Micromax A50” android mobile. I started getting traffic on the blog and was more interested to monetize the blog. I came to know about “AdSense” and got an account with the help of a friend. I used to click my ads using a “VPN” on my device it seemed cool, and I even generated a 30$ or so.The account got banned still I didn’t lose my hope which made me research further. I came across domain & hosting, but then the question is how to buy them. As I have experience in buying stuff by then, I booked my domain “www.droidsimplified.com” using my mother’s debit card.

After booking the domain, I was in clouds. I felt very proud and thought of making a fresh website around it. After booking the domain, the next requirement is hosting. I am familiar with Blogger platform, but it lacks something which made me look at WordPress CMS. Again thanks to Facebook which united me with “Pavan” who hosted my website on his server and cleared most of my queries. I used to post an article a day and started seeing good results. Later I started covering some rooting guides on my site which increases the user base of “DroidSimplified”.

I used to get around 150-200 visitors a day in September , nd I posted a picture regarding this on Facebook. I reached 1000 visitors a day before flipping the site. I flipped the site for obvious reasons. After that, I am unable to concentrate on new blogs until I started “Eyngn.com”  which went live in the month of November 2013 and ran the site for 6 months.

Eyngn made a lot of progress during the initial days and at the end of 6 months site used to get around 700 visits a day from “Google” alone. I also flipped the site to buy  “iPad Mini” to start a micro niche site. After buying an iPad started a niche site and failed at it badly and I learned some things during this phase.

I came across SEO, Previously all I know is On-Page Seo and never cared about off page as I am getting good results, but the whole SEO scenario changed which made me learn several new things. I never received an AdSense check till now and about to receive one this month. Many newbies are thinking to achieve overnight success through blogging which is impossible unless you are doing event niche blogs. I too did “Event Niche” blogs believe me they are not worth your time. You may end up earning 1-2k$ in a day but what if Google sends you a ban mail which may make you quit blogging.

My Blogging Story till now may be incomplete and I will update it in future. I am currently working on a few niche sites which may give results by the end of the year. Still, at the bottom of my heart, I feel that I am not giving my 100% and making mistakes like flipping sites. Yes, flipping those sites was the big mistake I ever made till now, it’s because the buyers who bought the sites didn’t update the sites and didn’t even bothered to renew them.

I tried a number of times to book those domains still I am unable to get my hands on them. Hope I will get them back one day. If you are thinking to become a blogger then you need to put countless hours to learn many things which include present and future techniques. Everyone can start a blog but only a few make it to the top. Hope you got my point. Thanks for stopping by and reading “My Blogging Journey Till Now” do leave your comments below.

Welcome to My Personal Blog

Hi this is Lakshman Teja

Hola everyone, I am Lakshman Teja and you might get a glimpse of me with the help of widget in the right sidebar.  I have been into blogging from June 2013 and was thinking to get a personal blog for myself. I didn’t get the time till now to start one and finally it’s today I am going to share my journey and experiences on this blog.

I encountered several obstacles during my journey which I want to keep track of using this blog so that you may overcome the obstacle by reading my experiences.

Hi this is Lakshman Teja

am currently studying Computer Science at a local college and the education there is not up to the mark. I am interested in blogging and completed 2 years successfully. The ratio of failed blogs is greater than the blogs which really got succeeded during the journey. I want my personal blog to act as a bridge between by readers and me so that I get a chance to interact with like-minded people.

Today is the day which I will remember forever. The day which I launched and set up the site. I have the idea of starting the personal blog but not too soon until a friend of mine messaged me about free hosting and domain offer. I thought of giving it a try and see how this works. Hearing a lot of buzzing about personal branding nowadays which made me setup and start working on my site and see how it helps me in the long run.

If you stop by and reading this, Thanks a lot for your time and patience. Hope you have a wonderful day. I will keep you all updated with my posts.  You can connect with me on facebook or twitter to have a friendly convo or a casual Hello, Hi and I am looking forward.
